BD-BLOCS

This project, undertaken in partnership with a recycler of tyre waste and a manufacturer of products made of preformed concrete, focused on incorporating rubber into concrete blocks in order to confer on them acoustic and thermal insulation properties. The development of the material involved a pre-treatment of rubber aggregates aimed at improving their adhesion to the cementitious matrix of the blocks.
