Design and dimensioning of a two-layered planted filter with a reduction of nitrogen
The FILTRA-N project had the aim of designing and validating a new process of extensive purification for the removal of carbon and nitrogen (Filter Planted with Reeds, FPR. This process, named ‘Filtrazote’, consists of the original stacking found in FPRs, with a vertical run-off above a FPR with horizontal run-off. The FILTRA-N project should confirm the expected performances of ‘Filtrazote’.
