TECHNOPOLY

The TechnoPoly portfolio recycling project aimed to recycle plastic waste selectively harvested in container parks along two main focal points: mechanical recycling and catalytic cracking (recovery and valorisation of the carbon content and the energy content in the form of fuels). In order to see this project through, various tasks have been carried out, such as a technology watch, the characterisation of the collected plastic waste, physicochemical treatment aiming to separate the various types of plastic, the formulation, application and evaluation of the properties of the recycled products.
