Centrifugal concentration

Centrifugal gravimetric separators are adapted to the treatment of particularly fine products (typically smaller than 100 µm). Rarely used outside certain domains (gold), they combine various effects including that of fluidisation. The accelerations can reach up to 60g thanks to centrifugal force.

The CTP has a Knelson separator and a Multi-Gravimetric Separator (MGS).
