The establishing of durable treatment and upcycling pathways for ultimate fractions from the processing of heavy everyday industrial waste
This project was particularly focused on the treatment and upcycling of mineral fractions generated from the processing of heavy everyday industrial waste.
The primary objective of this project was to enable the partner company to make the group’s activities viable over the long term by reducing the costs of disposing of the ultimate fractions generated by the processing of heavy everyday industrial waste through the development of original and economically cost-effective treatment and upcycling pathways.
Concretely, this project aimed to develop a treatment process, based essentially on dry sorting mineralogical techniques, applied to these ultimate fractions, with a view to enabling their later valorisation, either in road engineering or as a filler in concrete blocks.
